Knapsack Sprayer Maintenance and Repair
Date:2018-06-15 15:58:18 Writer:Knapsack sprayer is an important plant-protection machine for farmers in rural areas, especially in mountainous areas because of its simple structure, convenient use and low cost.
It is widely used in pest control for various crops, such as cotton, grain, fruit trees, vegetables, and tobacco. However, farmers often lack proper maintenance and repair techniques, resulting in lots of inconveniences in actual operations.
Use and Maintenance
1. Check whether leaks occur at the joints during use. Install the clean water for test before spraying.
2. The liquid level of the added liquid should not exceed the safe water level. Before spraying, twist the rocker more than 10 times, so that the pressure inside the barrel rises. Don’t be too forceful so as not to damage the air chamber.
3. After use, pour out the remaining pesticide liquid in the barrel and wash it with clean water. At the same time check whether there is water in the air chamber, if any, release the water.
4. When we do not use it in the short term, the main parts should be cleaned, wiped dry, and placed in a cool and dry place; if not used for a long period of time, the metal parts should be buttered to prevent rust.
Failure and Maintenance
1. Switch leaks. The wear of the switch gasket or the wear of the switch asbestos thread can cause the switch to leak. Replace the new gasket or asbestos thread.
2. If the air chamber is not inflated and the rocker can't press it, then it is caused by shrinkage 5. The air chamber plug rod rises automatically and the top of the gland covers the water. This is due to cracks in the gas wall or the bottom of the gas chamber, or the glass balls in the valve housing are clogged with debris, and cannot be caused by the close fitting of the valve body or the damage of the leather bowl. Repair tin cracks, remove body debris, and replace the skin.
3. If there has poor fog, or fog can not become a cone, this may be due to the fact that the nozzle orifice is blocked, the strainer inside the casing is blocked, or the water inlet and outlet ball valves are blocked by dirt. We should clear the nozzle hole to remove debris; if the casing is blocked, the casing should be disassembled to clean the filter, check the ball valve, and remove the dirt.
4. The air chamber plug rod rises automatically and the top of the gland covers the water. This is due to cracks in the gas wall or the bottom of the gas chamber, or the glass balls in the valve housing are clogged with debris. Weld cracks with tin, remove body debris and replace rubber bowl.
5. Air chamber cover leaks or air cover leaks. The reason is that the rubber gasket is damaged or the flange is detached from the air chamber. Replace gaskets or weld desoldering with tin.
